Nebby sued by USA Today

No wonder Nebraska and U of Iowa consider themselves as rivals. I think it is a contest to see which one has the most poorly run Athletics Department.

Sure you don't really want the details in the marketplace of how you forced both of your coaches to take a pay cut due to performance. Unprecedented really. Should go over real well when they are looking to hire for both jobs in 8 months.

Meh. That is one way to look at it. Or it can be said they gave both coaches options for another year even though they should have by rights been fired after last season.

Nebraska = Nowledge
I spent some time as a kid in Nebraska. My high school mates referred to UNO as the University of No Opportunity and UNL as the University of Narcotics and Liquor.

UNO has really changed their profile in the last couple decades. There has been significant investment from the community and the campus is pretty nice at this point for an urban University. They have a nice arena, some cool buildings and an area worth visiting for the shops and restaurants. It has become an excellent value for kids.

I agree. Recently stayed in Aksarben area and it was nice. Good hotel, restaurants, etc.
Also seemed like there was a Scooters on every corner.

Also: you can’t spell “drunk” without UNK.
