Call these 2 plays before we ran them: Kock up the middle on the 5 yard line followed by shotgun draw by Meyer? There is such a thing as going to the well to many times. If Kock is in the game inside the 10, Cotton is giving him the ball. A 10 year old kid could figure this out after watching us run it over and over. If Meyer is in an empty backfield shotgun inside the 10, he is running a draw. Again, a 10 year old kid could figure this out as we try it week in, week out. Has it worked before? Yes. Will it work time after time? No. Someone should tell Barney that other D1 coaches aren't first graders who have never watched us play, or we will be kicking a lot more field goals inside the 10 instead of getting 6. I hated watching that series-go into half down 4 with a lot of momentum, or go in down 8 having not fully capitalized on a great opportunity. Doubt it would have mattered as the D looked atrocious, but I am still disgusted.
