Thread to call your upset specials.

I've got Colgate over Texas.

It's probably more wishful thinking than probable since I don't think Colgate matches up very well vs Texas, but Colgate also fits a profile for a mid-major to pull an upset.

Colgate returns a number of guys who played vs Wisconsin in the tourney last year (not the leading scorer though), have a ton of seniors, have some decent shooters, and beat Syracuse on the road earlier this year. So I'm saying there's a chance.

Plus, I love that they play in Des Moines where no one likes Texas and A&M plays in the same session. Doubt that KU fans will still be around.

Kent State over Indiana

Miami over Indiana wouldn’t be an upset at all but I’d take Drake over them if Drake somehow beats Miami.

First impulse, partly because of geographic placement (and I think this'll be a "popular" 12v5 pick):

VCU over Saint Mary's

Also could see Arizona State/Nevada over TCU

I need to digest/percolate with a few others, have to wait until tomorrow.

I am rolling at this. So what you're saying is...IF a team wins their first game and IF said team is rolling on offense, there is a CHANCE they could win their second game.

So that's the same thing for literally everyone in the tournament. But this Iowa dweeb was like 'omg guys...Andy Katz said this and I have to share!'

Oral Roberts over Duke. 17 game win streak right now and got some dudes still on the team from a sweet 16 run 2 years ago. Peoples be thinking they are better than the Sweet16 team of 2021.

That's a lot of if's for this team. When was the last time they were rolling on offense? They had one good game against Indiana and a great 90 seconds against MSU. But other than that, their last month hasn't been anything to write home about. And yes, we mock the Wilson ball thing, but it's either real or in the players heads cause it absolutely affects their perimeter shooting.
