I thought the motel was great. Close to Fanfest and BOK.

Small bar in the motel that you could relax and have a drink with other Cyclones.

Parking was fantastic, in the motel and never had to move it and thought it was reasonable

Things I didn't like.
Options for food seemed limited, but we didn't venture very far from BOK and ALoft motel.

Biggest disappointment every year is the seats. We are in the nose bleed of upper deck and in the corner and there were lots of seats in the lower bowl that I don't think were ever sat in. I don't know if sponsors get the seats and never resell or give them out, but this seems to be common for many NCAA wrestling that I have been at. This year seemed like more that normal.

This is my 1st tournament since Covid, so is it worse now that the tickets are on the phone and no hard copies? There were basically no scalpers selling tickets. So transferring tickets right ahead of a session is kind of a pain.

But I always find a beer and enjoy talking to Cyclones and wrestling fans!

Kansas City is going to be awesome in 2024!!!

Too bad you didn't have enough time to go through the Woody Guthrie Museum. It's worth a visit

My seats were great.

The Social on Saturday night was good to catch up with old friends and try to meet new ones.

Tulsa just doesn't have the infrastructure for this event, it's fine for Big 12's. Kansas City is going to be much better. Maybe I'll even get to talk to Buf and Stu at the socials next year God willing.

@Tigerguy_ , you didn’t try very hard. I went to the bar right away & found/met @stuclone drinking beer.

A nice thing that the BOK did was have "camps" for each team setup under the stands. Unfortunately, the building itself is just too small.

And Robin Wilson is invaluable to this program. She works her ass off. And those girl managers do too.

It gets old always being in the nose bleeds! Got to be top 10 to get lower seats but even then we've been in the corners and upper deck. The best seats I've had was not going through ISU a few years ago. Went through ticketmaster and they were on 50 yard line 9 rows up in Minneapolis. We all know how that ended up!

Disappointing to hear about our seat locations. I really want to go to KC next year, but nosebleeds are a downer. I'll have to think about it. Love the idea of the socials, etc. but I'm done paying for bad seats to anything.

Robin, Alli, Molly & the wrestling managers do a fantastic job. The socials on Friday & Saturday are awesome

Yeah, she got me started when we went to Nationals in New York City. We saw Book of Morman on broadway, I thought that was hilarious. Been to 4 or 5 since then. Hamilton was okay, but not as good as Music Man or Rent

I was supposed to go to Wicked in Broadway back on March 16, 2020, leaving for NY on March 13th. You probably can guess what happened with that date.

The other time I was supposed to go to New York was September 10, 2001 for work but things fell apart last minute so my company pulled the plug.

I’ve decided to never try to go to NY ever again.

Yeah he asked right away after we were headed home. I enjoyed it, just not my favorite. But I haven’t seen a show that I thought, “This is terrible”. Wife tries to find shows I would like, so I keep going to them every once in awhile
