Did Iowa's attendance really improve that much this year or is their tickets sold to butts in the seats ratio way skewed?

our attendance dropped off a little for Hoiberg's 1st year compared to prior years attendance, but hopefully we'll get better crowds next year.

Based on that report the Big 12 ranks 4th in avg attendance at 10,716. With Neb and CU leaving and their averages being 9,395 & 7,014 respectively that will help the Big 12 averages next year and will lower the Big 10 and the Pac12 may see a little improvement as CU is less than the Pac12 avg but Utah is more.

Also, ISU ranking 4th in the conference in attendance and placing last in the conference says a lot about ISU fans.

For those of you debating the number for Iowa, keep in mind all of these numbers are paid attendance. And there were VERY few games last season in which we had anything close to 12k butts in the seats.
