NBA Mock Draft: Ford vs Simmons

Not a huge fan of the Celtics but if Royce were to slide to there, I'd obviously start following the team more. (Starting to think Houston maybe taking him now if they don't trade up).
Either way, Bill Simmons is on board the RW bandwagon and with that Royce would get a ton of exposure on Grantland/ESPN. Good for him and good for ISU.

I think Simmons is the best writer ESPN has ever had. I just finished The Book of Basketball and it was extraordinarily long, but his style keeps you engaged even though what he's talking about interests you very little. Before me, that was most of the pre-merger stuff. The guys also knows a little about basketball and I think he lies awake at night contemplating what-ifs and different scenarios that could have changed basketball history as we know it. If you like the game and want to think about a lot of different things in terms of history, it's a great read. He throws little incidents out there that had huge change reactions and it just amazed me that he even thought of some of it.
