I thought Caleb Bacon played well. Two sacks in game and UNI couldn’t get anything going after he shut them down with the first quarter sack.

They didn't call a penalty on him. They picked up the flag and called pass interference

Cooper. That pick six wasn't just a game changer, but potentially a season changer. Took a lot of pressure off a young team, allowed our backups to get reps, rested the starters for next week, and got the starters off the field reducing the chance of injury for the rest of season. I like what I see out of the team. Defense and special teams looked great. Saw some young guys that have got me really stoked for down the road. That defense has some legit depth. Translates well into special teams also since a lot of those guys are on them. What I'm reading everyone saw the same as to what newcomers looked great! Multiple underclassmen I could easily see playing NFL ball down the road. Watched the rest of the conference games and Iowa. Not worried we won't be competitive and we did a 180 in the margins yesterday. Good sign after the debacle last season was.
