Our choices are:

Baltimora - Tarzan Boy

Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You

Hanson - MMMBop

Lazytown - Cooking By The Book

Seriously, there is something wrong with the people in our athletics department. I could understand (sorta) the previous selections, but this just crosses the line. I mean, seriously! What will Meyer and Blythe think of these songs? None of these songs have any business at a football game, which makes sense because this is a joke. Happy belated Halloween. If you've read this far, please play along. However, considering some of the options we've been given, I bet you were scared that this was real, weren't you? The real choices are posted, but are all repeats, they are Sweet Caroline, Crazy Train, Don't Stop Believin' and Jump Around. I bet Ace is going to throw a fit if they play Lazytown at the start of the fourth quarter. Chizik will somehow burst into flames and cook Hawkins for my final tailgate down at Kansas, that is, if Mangino doesn't eat him first.

Tell me this is a joke? Did I pass out and miss the winter? It is April 1st already?

I thought you were serious there for a second, superfan.

I voted Sweet Caroline, but Journey wouldn't be a bad choice either. Whatever gets the student section pumped up. I can't believe that we had the lead going into the 4th quarter, and no one could get into Jump Around versus KSU.

There are rules about music during football games

#1 - NO songs sung or written by Whitney Houston, Bette Midler, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, Michael Bolton, Barry Manilow AND Niel Diamond.
#2 - NO songs that give you a warm fuzzy feeling. (get your warm fuzzy feeling from the beer you smuggled into the game, sicko)
#3 - NO Ballads, not even anything off of the "Power Ballads" infomercial
#4 - NO songs that make you forget that you are, in fact, at a football game. i.e. children's saturday morning cartoon theme songs.
#5 - NO songs that can be classified as being "bubblegum" i.e. The Monkees, HANSEN.
#6 - NO songs that would cause instant embarassment if discovered listening to them. i.e. Vanilla Ice's Ice Ice Baby or Backdoor Boys "Hanging Tough", MMMBOP

Those are the rules ridicule and discuss

ive not heard that lazytown song since it was big on ytmnd a long time ago.

thats where my vote was of those 4, lol

Lazytown.....that is hilarious. I would almost pay for that to be played, the stunned silence and looks on peoples faces would be priceless, although embarrassing that another team would see it.
I can see it now.....Cyclone Football 2008...Time to make the cake.....

Haha Sweet Caroline is winning.:biglaugh:

OMFG...people. seriously, love Neil Diamond, hate him at football games. Don't let this damn song win...

I agree with superfan though, these options are pathetic, some one should lose their "job" over the picking of these songs. I can't believe my vote is for "jump around." Let's get some music with some balls.

And oh yeah, that Baltimora guy reminds me of Zoolander...

Let's do Journey again but this time we need to fast forward about a minute into the song so the whole crowd can sing the hook!

Those of us with little kids would all be singing along!

Going with Jump Around here again. It wasn't but just a few years ago that the student section really got into it more than they do now plus it's a good way to stay awake when the beer buzz starts to wear off and its chilly out.

Heh heh heh he talked about this last week, can't believe he did it (Ok so yes I can)

And sorry man, the game was already up so I don't feel bad pointing out the obvious...

Thats what I'm pulling for...

Fortuantly it's #2 in a very close poll... it's almost even among the 4. Outta be interesting to see how it turns out, unfortuantly I see a close one between "Sweet Caroline" and "Jump around". Maybe I'll get lucky and will see Journey pull one out here

Crazy Train is good stuff, but I see it last in this one
