Muschamp gone

Wait, you can fire coaches mid year when they underperform? This changes everything.

Not if you're Jamie Pollard.

If we aren't going to throw some money at getting Rhoads out of here, let's at least throw some money at Muschamp to be the DC. Not like he'll do it, but it would be nice to see something out of our AD that reflects the idea that 5-19 is unacceptable.

They'll never be able to get anyone better at Florida. If Muschamp can't win there who can?

Too much head coaching experience. Who's on People's Hottest Coordinator list?

He is massively underrated for what he did at Florida. His schemes work,he just didn't have the players to make them work. He will be a great head coach for some lucky new team now.

In his time at Florida, Muschamp is 17-8 at home.

In 18 seasons, Spurrier and Meyer combined to post a home record of 104-10

He was having some tough luck recruiting his needs for one reason or another. Gene appears to be a little player for this opening.

Well, getting the players you need to make your schemes work is part of being a head coach. He had four years there, if he couldn't get the players he needed to Florida in that time, then that's a big problem.
