I have been mowing my lawn at 2 1/2" so far this year. I know when it gets hotter I should change to longer (like 3") Should I be cutting mine higher yet, or does it matter at this point?

I always set mine well below the shoulder height of a tiger for summer. Don't want to provide any cover for them stalking me.

I pretty much have to mow my yard at max height regardless of the circumstances. With how unlevel the ground on my property is, if I cut lower than the second-highest setting I start scalping my lawn in places.

I think they recommend 3" to 3.5" for bluegrass in the summer. 2.5" to 3" is the spring/fall height.

I usually do 3" in the Spring & Fall and then 3.5" in the Summer. I have Bluegrass.

I keep my yard at 3” in the spring/fall and 3.5” in the summer. Previous house owner didn’t take care of the yard so I’ve been trying to get the yard more full by leaving it long. Typically now once a week, mulch it, and leave the clippings.

You guys must have fancy mowers. I have no idea what height it is but my four tires are set two metal clicks from highest setting.

Three clicks from the top if the grass looks really good. Two clicks from the top if it’s getting burned in the heat.
