Move the 3P line back?

I would like to see the 3 point line move to be fiba length and widen the court a bit to help with spacing.
How far back would you need to move it for the average to be two-thirds of the 2P FG average? If I recall correctly the overall 3P average was 35% this year, so it’s likely close.

It’s silly to fight analytics. Hoiball and other modern offenses is about taking good shots, not tough twos. Move the line a few feet, but good coaches will have rosters that create three pointers and easy twos.

Hoiberg was one of college coaches early on that realized hitting a high % of 3's could be the great equalizer for a program like ISU that recruits 3/4 star recruits when competing against teams like KU.

It took Self a few years, but he finally realized taking and hitting a high % of 3 pointers is critical. His KU team this year shot 25 3's per game and made 10 or 40%. It becomes a simple math exercise- 40% from 3 is like hitting 60% from 2.

What happens when a team of chuckers like KU loses to a much better team? Rule change. Their ignorance is always entertaining.

12-foot hoops, too, as clearly dunks are too easy?
This has nothing to do with who beat us. It is a conversation that has been going on for years, as witnessed by the experiment to move it back for the NIT tourney games. I don't really care if they move it or not but I wouldn't mind seeing them go to quarters with the reset of the fouls towards the bonus.
