From everything everyone has said that I've read, he's redshirting and will not play.

I don't see any option for him to play. He probably would not be ready yet physically plus he needs to sit out the bowl game to preserve his medical redshirt.

In his press conference about the bowl game, PR said that the only player that will be ready from the injuries list was Benten. He said that Money, Parker, etc are done for the season.

Money would be close to ready if he were to play in the bowl. He's just starting to get back into pads now and if the situation were different I bet he would see the field... But he wont play because of the redshirt.

So the coaches are anticipating Benton to be at full strength? If so, that's big news for the secondary. We really could have used him down the stretch.

i talked to ter'ran last week and he says he is 100% and is ready to kick some gopher anus!!! i really like how we have used him this season. IMO he is a better tackler than LJ or banks.

Not completely true. These can't even be applied for until the season is complete.

I didn't they could.

I believe, without looking, that the medical redshirt (which is what Parker would be applying for) does specify season-ending injury.

4 games played in/13 games = 30.8%, rounded down to 30%, should not be a problem for both players.

5/13 = 38.5%, probably too high, and redshirt would probably be rejected.

is money's little brother going to grayshirt at iowa state. i hear he is a pretty good end in his own right and a very good special teams kid on punt returns and kickoff returns.i think his nickname is "the kidd".
