I don't get to watch Monday Night Football often, but Tony Kornheiser is horrible! He goes off on these long monologues/soliloquies, and the other guys just sit there and wait for him to finish. Geez, he just rambles on, to no significant point whatsoever!

It's worse than listening to Dennis Miller! Fingernails on a blackboard--why can't ESPN figure this out?!! It really makes me not want to watch the broadcasts he's on!

I totally agree. Mike Tirico is one of the best in the business and Jaws is pretty good, but Kornheiser just detracts from them. He doesn't really seem to know football very well. Anyone see last week when he said the game was over and guaranteed Cardinals victory when there was plenty of time left and Arizona leading by less than a TD? I never watched PTI all that much before either but him being on MNF has made me not like him on PTI too.

Man, this runningback for Buffalo out of Coe College is sure running hard tonight.

He tries too hard and it isn't natural at all. When something is forced, it just isn't good. It's not all his fault, as ESPN is looking to have a "funny guy" on the MNF crew.

I actually like Tirico and Jaws. It seems like they actually enjoy the game.

It's kind of frustrating when THE sports network of all sports networks wants less Xs and Os and more fluff during it's broadcasts....

I like Kornheiser. He has a certain elegance about him. He sort of reminds me a bit of JK Rowling's work. Except he's way, way better.

Let's face it. The NFL is horrible. It can't stand on it's own as just being football, and pretty much requires a whole bunch of hype/entertainment surrounding it to make it even watchable.

Totally true. I agree, it seems completely forced and unnatural. He goes on and on about nothing, while trying to sound intelligent.

I just listen to music in the backround during MNF. Seems to work fine for me. :)

Tony is pretty bad from the times I've heard him. His comments seem out of place most of the time and just leave you thinking "uhhhh, ok."

I didn't mind Theisman. He was cocky and acted like he could still play but he didn't suck and had some football cred.

I wont defend tony k, but lets not get carried away.. theismann was a moron.. my favorit quote from him: "Nobody in football should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein." It doesn't bother me that he said it, just that when he did, he said it with an arrogant smirk. It bugs me that someone that stupid could still be that arrogant. Then he throws them under the bus with reporters after he's fired.. that combined with him being an idiot is why hes not working anywhere.

Theisman was a moron but at least he could relate to the game in some fasion. Tony K is a talking head who has gotten this far on his annoying personality. At this point I would rather see him replaced with an angry baboon. The Baboon would make juat as much sense and be just as relevant to the game. Honestly though I think Matt Millen would do a good job, but there might be too much baggage to put him in there. He used to to the MNF radio broadcasts and was very good at it. (unlike his GM stint in Detroit)

thanks for the replies and clicks..dont you know telling someone not to click is like telling a child not to do something? It is human nature to want what we are not supposed to have...
I dunno. I didn't click it. Won't unless Tony cuts his hair off about a foot shorter....
