The rebroadcast of the Larsen game was pretty cool. Just some random observations:
* Apparently Gillette was the only company that advertised during the broadcast (except for one ad I saw for PaperMate pens)
* Like most perfect games/no-hitters, there were a couple of dramatic moments that made things exciting. Mantle made a pretty sweet running catch in the insanely large left-center gap of old Yankee Stadium. Duke Snider crushed a ball that went just foul down the right field line early in the game. And Jackie Robinson was apparently retired on weird play in the first inning, but the footage from the first inning was missing.
* It was pretty amazing to see/hear Vin Scully calling the game. The guy was working a game in the 1956 World Series and he's still going strong for the Dodgers.
