Newsworthy as it looks like South Dakota is out as an opponent. MVC was only one of 5/13 conferences left for the fall and kind of got forced into this as it appears the FCS championship being cancelled for the fall with less than 50% participating.

Edit: there is a link to the original source article that says schools can still play their “buy” game for the fall if they want then play the spring schedule later...interesting.

The new question is if FCS schools will still be allowed to play their "buy" games this fall, then have a league schedule and playoffs in the spring.

For example, the Big Sky and Pioneer explicitly stated that they aren't playing their conference schedules this fall. Big Sky left the door open for non-con ("pending further review").
