But it wasn't a slam dunk that we would get this one. Frankly, I thought New Orleans would get it and Minnesota would get the next one. I figured the NFL would lap up the idea of having the Super Bowl being a part of the city's tricentennial. Most of the time the NFL will force a city to be the bridesmaid at least once before awarding it to them.

I would rather be in Minneapolis than Miami pretty much any time of the year. Miami has a pleasant climate, but everything else about it is ******* awful.

Being a Broncos fan, I would love to see it in Denver one year. Great city with a lively entertainment aspect, plenty to do, great stadium to host the game...but I know its a pipe dream. It's a shame

This is pretty awesome. I wasn't a huge fan of making the state pay for so much of the new stadium's bill, but throwing in a super bowl right away makes it a little more justifiable.
