NFL: Minnesota Vikings: Joe Webb

After getting to watch him play the past two years, he has done some good things.

Any Viking fans on here think Joe should be our starting QB?

It seems that he can do some other things than Ponder can. He is a pretty good passer and good runner. Just wondering what others thought.

FYI, I do think Ponder has potential.

I don't think so. It is good to have him as a wildcat QB though. Ponder's play as a rookie suggests long term that he is the answer. Gabbert is what a bust looks like.

I agree. Ponders stats and overall impression would look a lot better if he had an O line to block for him and receivers that can actually catch the ball. He has a lot of potential. I like Webb a lot though and he seems like a good guy to keep on the roster.

Gabbert has looked horrible this year. Hasnt had the best pieces around him though.

I think youre right. Having Webb as a change up type guy will be good thing for this offense.
