I'll be up in Minneapolis for a wedding reception and am looking to watch the game with some fellow Cyclone fans. I'm the only one in my family skipping the wedding to watch the game.

Could someone help with details on a game watch or a cyclone friendly bar I could watch the game at? I'm not familiar with the area we will be staying: East Bethel.

Thanks guys

Uptown Tavern and Rooftop, Darby's or Park Tavern. I am sure you could also look up on the ISU Alum page where they have them for sure on Saturday.

Second Darby's - they have ISU stuff hanging on the walls so figure you can find it there.

You're pretty far north for any of the official gamewatch locations. The closest would be the Uptown Tavern and that's about 45 minutes away.I think Darby's has a private event. Uptown is a pretty cool place in a pretty cool neighborhood.

If you don't want to drive that far, there's a Willy McCoys in Andover that's a bit closer. You should be able to talk them into putting the game on and there's a good chance there will be a few ISU fans there anyway. They have decent prices on their beer.

About 35 min from East Bethel, one option might be:

Joe Senser's Sports Theater, 2350 Cleveland Ave N, Roseville, MN 55113
Phone: :651-631-1781

Fewer ISU fans, but big screens, great food, and excellent service. MN - Purdue will be the featured game. But Gopher fans are tame, and you can ask for sound at your table.

FYI, the game will also be on the ESPN3 SkyCam, in case you need a streaming option. Otherwise, there is a BWW in Blaine, which is 15 min south on Hwy 65.

I once went (was dragged) to East Bethel. From experience, don't go to the store named Past Perfect. If you go in, your wife/significant other may not leave for hours. I can only look at faux distressed furniture, mirrors and dresses for so long.

I'll be at Darby's! I live two blocks from there.

But from where you are Roseville (Joe Senser's) is best option.

If I can find a reasonable Uber I'll meet you there!

SO is getting fitted for a bridesmaid dress so I will get to avoid being dragged to places like this, this time

No Darby's this weekend. They have a wedding rehearsal party going on that afternoon and the bar isn't available.

So what's the next best Boxster? If work goes well I'd like to slip up and catch a game watch.

Either Uptown Bar or Park Tavern. I am not a fan of Park Tavern though. Might go to Uptown if I don't die from this cold relapse. Or might just stay at home and watch in the comfort of my own digs.

Uptown is the next best option. Not a huge selection of beers, but it’s usually a really good selection of locals. Watched us win. big 12 championship in basketball there.
