Mini Van on Russillo

Show me a more sought out bench player who has successfully endeared himself to multiple fanbases, and marketed himself as a go-to interviewee?

Scalabrine?
The savvy, hustle, grit and humilty it takes to transition from star, center piece of NCAA team with S16/F4 aspirations to somewhere between competent contributing roleplayer/lovable last man off the bench that the fans want to see hit a shot in the League...that's huge.

Excited to see how the rest of his career and post-playing days unfold. Love that guy.

I love Georges. Every time I see him play I am more amazed that he's been able to carve out a regular role in that league of high flying super athletic freak monsters. He certainly plays a different style and has a different skill set than the majority of the league, but he makes it work. Very proud of the guy.

His KD story was actually pretty enlightening about the guy to be honest.

Missed the interview. What did he say?

Just that when he was a training camp signee with the Warriors, a guy that was never going to make the roster, he was warming up with another guy in the same position and KD came sprinting over to them. Georges was super nervous that he messed something up and he thought he was going to ripped on by KD.

KD literally was just super nice and chill and asked them if it was okay if he got shots up with them. He said he thought KD was just honestly a super normal, nice guy and one of the reasons he's prickly with the media is that they want him to be some kind of alpha dog which just isn't in his personality.

He’s a total ACE from 3, his career has been around 41 to 40%. That’ll keep you in the league a while.

Several times this year he and Haliburton were both in top ten for 3pt %. We had some insanely good shooters come through ISU during that stretch.
