Miller & Deace are back together

My best guess is that non-compete clauses in both Deace's & Miller's contracts with Clear Channel prevents the duo from appearing on any non-Clear Channel owned radio stations until late August.

Didn't have a problem with either one, but it has been nice not having to listen to big 10 propaganda for the last 4 months.

Jon Miller coming back to dsm or what? did he get fired from the big ten network for the Hawkeye garbage he is always spewing or what. Thought he left for this big time gig with Big 10 network.?? Although he is better than Mathew it gets old his bashing of the clones and hawk talk....
 
I thought WHO was Millers dream job? So in August they will be on 1700. Isnt Byline the same network Marty broadcasts on?
 
I was hoping for (Ken) Miller and Deace once Perrault is gone.

The good news is this quote from Jon Miller

"This also coincides with my resignation from Clear Channel, which includes the Sports Director role at 1040 WHO."
 
Resigning from the sports director post at WHO to do a 5 hour a week radio gig? I know Jon has his fingers in many different pies but this one just doesn't make much sense.
 
Well, I had issues with Jon being the sports director at WHO considering he was giving heads up to the Iowa football staff on what the media was saying about them with the hospitalized players.

I'm glad they aren't going local since I would just get mad having to listen to their religious and political crap. I'm guessing they'll have to tame that down since they have only an hour a day and they are going to be in different markets.
 
Interesting.

I wouldn't be shocked if Deace also ends up working for one of the Republican candidates during the Iowa Causcus (which he really couldn't have done had he stayed on at WHO).

Suppose it will start just in time for the annual predictions by miller of a perfect season, a big 10 championship and most likely a 4 hawks finishing in a 4 way tie for the Heisman trophy.

They'll be on for a short time before the surprise announcement that they are stepping away from the show for another anonymous reason. The old on again off again pony show known as miller & deace probably won't get attention from me even though, at least at one point, they were as good as you can get in a **** poor market...
 
There has to be more to this story. Jon Miller is giving up a lot in this scenerio. This little piece was interesting.

Deace going the syndication route? So now he's aspiring to be the next Rush Limbaugh, who he absolutely despises? HAHAHAHAHA.

I've got two predictions:

1. Steve will find a way to get Jonathan ******** involved somehow with this venture.

2. The show might be good at first, but it will eventually flame out and Steve will blame the listeners for actually expecting a good product. This is the guy who spent the entire period of the ISU football coaching search when Dan McCarney was replaced by "you know who" on Michigan fan message boards arguing about who their next coach should be. God forbid that a guy who cashes checks from ISU fans to provide them with information & opinion should actually be expected to provide.....information & opinion.

DAMN! I'd forgotten that the use of Nar Cis Se was censored on this site. Apparently, it's just like saying ********** or mother****er.
 
Interesting.

Seems to be a little crappy syndicated network of stations.

I went to it's website and a pop up porn ad came with it.

I think both the false prophet and the tavern hawk have taken a step back.
