NFL: Miami Dolphins Fire Joe Philbin

They should fire whoever decided they should buy Donkey Kong Suh for $100 million or whatever it was.

Yayyyy. Every Dolphin fan has wanted this since the end of the 2013 season.

TE coach likely promoted because that's the only position under Philbin that has met and exceeded expectations

Probably deserved it, but can't help thinking he's a fall guy for management to direct attention away from their failures as a franchise as a whole. They've been irrelevant since Marino retired, quite possibly since Shula retired.

Dolphins just fired their defensive coordinator, who I honestly believe told the DE's not to try and sack anyone, because if you watch game film, they play the middle school style of "cover the C gap and just stay home, don't move."

Watching all their games this year, Wake has had plenty of opportunities to punish the QB and instead just stands there waiting for the ball to come his way.

Which also forces Suh to cover the A and B gap all game, which has led to his suckage as well.

I really do like the new men in charge right now for the Dolphins. Bill Lazor, the OC, is the last man that needs to go.

Sounds like the team is really rallying around this new HC as well. Doubt he'll be there next year unless he makes the playoffs somehow, but at least he's doing his best just to salvage the tire fire that was created.

Just kind of sucks when your head coach is the scariest looking guy on the football field.
