Meyer and Blythe: Bad relationship?

this could be legit you might be onto something. i know what its like to have a roommate that doesnt understand the concept of "you dirtied that dish, you clean it" if todd doesnt do his dishes i wouldnt throw him the ball either
Ok, enough already. I will do Todd's share of the dishes. :oo7dt:

Is that a violation of NCAA rules?

this could be legit you might be onto something. i know what its like to have a roommate that doesnt understand the concept of "you dirtied that dish, you clean it." it just so happens that this roommate commonly wants to go throw the football around outside. i refuse to play with him. if todd doesnt do his dishes i wouldnt throw him the ball either.

Who ever throws more interceptions should have to do the dishes

Bret passed to his left almost all night.

Ya, Brett through to his left all night because he left the pocket and rolled to his right heading towards the sideline when he locked onto his first reciever along the right sideline but since he was running towards same sideline he had to throw to his left side to get the ball to his target. I don't know if the whole fight thing has much clout but in the second half I watched Brett and Blythe and unless I missed it, Brett did not look his way once, and their was at least 3 times when Todd was wide open too.

I don't agree that Blythe getting in the face of McFarland in the locker room for all to see is a good thing. The last thing we need is for some of our players to stop believing in what the coaches are preaching. Sounds TO esque.

I don't think it's great that he got into a coach's face, but I do think that his passion is right where it needs to be. I wasn't at the game, but from what I've heard, our team isn't playing with the fire.

I've never questioned Blythe's desire to win and desire to play the game. He plays with swagger and a passion. Perhaps the rest of the team should start showing passion.

I'm sure him and McFarland will talk about it and the team will talk about it and everything will be straightened out. This sounds like a team that needed fireworks to wake up...and they got 'em.

Blythe Doesn't Walk on Water

Blythe is a quality receiver but he is not perfect. It seems to me about 80% of Blythe's offense came on fade or fly patterns in the McCarney era and they don't seem like patterns in McFarland's playbook. Based on last years message boards, I would think most Clone fans feel that is a good thing.

Does he need to get the ball more? Sure but it seems to me some fans think every pass should go Todds way. I guess we'll see how great Blythe is next fall.

Meyer isn't playing well- but I'm not sure any quarterback would with the level of protection he is getting. UNI's d-line dominated our o-line. When Meyer threw the INT late in the 4th quarter he had a UNI guy all over him.
