ESPN reporting Noah recruited Melo during the all-star weekend to come to Chicago.

Chris Brussard said Melo and Thibedou would work great together.

If the deal were done this offseason and Rose is 100% healthy, the Bulls, not the Heat, could be the team to beat in the East. Especially considering the Bulls now have those first round picks from the Cavaliers for Deng. The only offensive power better than the Bulls in the league would be the Thunder, and the Bulls always have one of the best defenses out there.

No way it happens. Rose has not played a full season yet without missing games for some kind of injury. Now, two major knee injuries in a row?

Melo might still be a Bull, but I'd be shocked if Rose is playing at this time next year.

I see Rose maybe changing his game like grant hill and vince carter did, and maybe being a quality started like they were.

I can picture Marv Albert now: "Rose drops it in to Noah! Noah muscles for position! Passes back to Rose! Rose drives, and kicks to Melo! Melo holds it.... holds it!... HOLDS IT!... HOLDS IT!... puts up a contested jumper and.... IT'S GOOD!!!!!!!! BULLS WIN! BULLS WIN! BULLS WIN! Melo's patented last second heroics have sealed the deal, and with the playoffs looming, Chicago has locked up the 6 seed!"

The bulls are in a battle for the 3 seed this year with Noah and a bunch of scrubs. I'd like to think we could at least do that well with melo in the mix. However this is not going to happen.

I'm exaggerating of course. I just have trouble seeing Melo in any situation where he'll need to share the spotlight, and am not convinced he'd work well with any coach at this point. At least not one who didn't focus entirely on him. It's going to take a big change in Melo to make any kinds of title run possible.
