and I don't know, but lets say ISU is in a bowl game for the first time in years like Arizona is. Would Pollard come out and say that his coach has been approached and that he's entertaining an offer from another school 48 hours from the game. Off course he wouldn't, it's best for everyone to pipe down.

I don't claim to know Pollard but I think I know him well enough that he'd respect another schools wishes if he's was going to hire that schools coach away.

I wouldn't be surprised if Pollard has asked every AD hes approached not to divulge any contact. If the guy can get flight tracker to not log his flight plan, anything is possible. Right now pretty much every coach that has been mentioned on this board is still in play with the exception of Turner Gill.

I dont think Ken was trying to tell you or anyone here to shut up and just sits on your hands until this thing is over. He's being a lot more rational than 99 of the people that have been on here for the last 6 days. Our emotions dont need to fluctuate like the stock market.

Calm down, sorry maybe that's to harsh in your fragile state. I meant the principles in the search nothing more.
 
I don't see how Pollard can be on the Stoops trail this early.

As cycloneworld mentioned in another thread, Pollard poked fun at Auburn for hiring a 5-19 HC. Stoops has a little better record, but it's by no means good.

IMO, hiring Stoops would appear that JP settled - based on his presser comments (there are others, the coaching record item is just one of the examples).

And I just can't see Jamie Pollard settling this early into the search.

have you talked to anyone with Arizona's Scout site about Stoops? I talked to a friend down there and he didn't have much good to say about him from a personal and PR (Booster Club, Media) standpoint, not to mention coaching... The AZ fans that have come here seem to think we would be doing them a favor taking him off their hands...
