That was embarrassing and I’m not even talking about the first 3 quarters

Campbell quit on this team. I’m fine with pulling Brock to give Dekkers a chance, but he didn’t even give him a legit chance of trying to win the game.

Have in come in and run the ball?

I know Iowa’s defense is insane and our offense was garbage but the play calling down 17 looked like that of a coach that quit.

We have one the best defenses in the nation and you aren’t even trying to see if you can cut into the lead until 6 minutes left.

What am I missing here?

The play calling all game was s***. Brock was in his own head by the time Dekkers came in not to mention they said Purdy was seen limping around. I applaud them for putting in Dekkers, Sanders etc. Had we made that field goal at the end we would have only lost by seven. SEVEN. We turned the ball over 4 freakin times. Good to see the fight out of the second stringers especially Eli Sanders.

Idk. I can’t help but think that if Campbell actually ran a real offense week 1, our guys might have been better prepared for this game.

i will say one thing: iowa is going to be the most overrated they’ve ever been. What are they, +8 in turnovers in 2 games?

I was more concerned with he different playcalljng with the QB's. They wouldn't open up the passing game with Purdy but did with Dekkers. Is there something going on that's keeping Purdy from throwing the ball down field, or is it just stubbornness from the coaches?

Don't kid yourself pal, that is a good defense, above average special teams, and a offense that executes and mixes it up enough to succeed in the big ten.

4 awful turnovers.

While I don't think CMC quit there was 9min left in the game down 17 and Dekkers comes in and we ran the ball several times just eating the clock..

Then we finally score to make it 27-17 but there is only like 3-4 min left?

Maybe it was more Manning play calling the CMC really but you cannot just stay with the same game plan down 17 with 9 min left in the game. They finally realized it but too late with only 3 min left..

You’re missing a clue…Campbell didn’t quit. We got beat. Our offense played poorly- we move on.
We don’t take a **** on our coach over one bad game. Shame on fans who bad mouth this team and it’s coaches after one game.

Maybe deckers actually sees the field and throws it, instead checking down all the time.
