That’s weird if true. Why keep a guy from going to Michigan and let him go to Illinois?
He can't but he can deny the scholarship dollars. Terrence absolutely could have paid for them out of pocket.

This is the type of drama the NIL and transfer portal needed. Also the Miami kid asking for more money, either it's NIL money that can't be tied to participation/performance or it's an illegal benefit and the NCAA should sanction Miami.
No control over the going to Illinois. If true, I’d guess the line of thinking was probably I know this kid wants to go to Michigan but if he can’t then maybe he’ll go back to Tech instead.
Kind of glad to have this out there to maybe set a precedent in case a guy were ever to want to go to a conference rival or something...
Why should Tech's program pay summer tuition for a kid to go somewhere else?
