NFL: Manziel in rehab treatment facility

Kinda weird that they very explicitly do not say what he's entered treatment for. Alcohol? Drugs? Depression? Living in Cleveland?
 
Probably combination of living in Cleveland and depression due to nobody talks about him during the NFL play-off weeks
 
"Johnny knows there are areas in which he needs to improve in order to be a better family member, friend and teammate"

That is an incredibly vague description. The statement makes it sound like he may have joined a cult.
 
It's spoiled little Johnny's way of saying, "Hey! Look at me! Come on guys, seriously, look at me! I still matter, right? ESPN? You still care about me, right? Please!! Won't somebody just look at me?! My 15 minutes are about up and no one is looking!! LOOK AT ME DAMMIT!!!"

the Browns or his agent probably made him do it. Hopefully he takes it seriously because the kid has some real issues.
 
Celebrity rehab, could be roomies with Lindsey Lohan. She's been out of news for a while and could use the bump.

They could do a sex tape. That's always good for some PR. :twitcy:
 
...probably just taking some classes on how to call football games, because that's what he's going to end up doing after a couple more years of his media circus act as a 'player'.

Yeah, definitely. I don't think he'll ever be a successful NFL QB but there's still time for him to at least get his personal life together.

It is kind of bizarre how everything that organization touches turns to ****. Even when they win a trade like the lopsided Trent Richardson deal, they still find ways to screw it up by turning that haul into an undersized me first drama queen QB.
 
It looks like I'm in the minority but I give him credit for putting his image/brand on the back burner and getting some help (for whatever it may be). That takes a lot for someone with his stature.
 
He always reminds me of that line in Guardians of the Galaxy about whether anyone can be 100% ****. He has spent a lot of time trying to prove them wrong. Maybe this will help. Or he can be hanging out with Tim Tebow soon.
