Get BBQ for lunch in KC then bring snacks/drinks to tailgate in Manhattan.
Last time I was there there was a well-kept Burger King right by Aggieville.
No matter what the locals tell you, Tanners is overrated.
Stopped at Sonic for a quick hitter since we were running late once. Oldest got tots and found out they serve gravy with them. Forget what he asked for, but he didn’t want gravy with his tots. Not much for fast service on the way from KC, so make sure you have time to order and wait.
Haven't been there since 1973. All I remember is everything was purple.
So Long Saloon....great burgers and their pineapple beer.

Tall-Grass Tap House scores well on Trip Advisor. Reviews look solid. Taco Lucha is another that appears to be a good choice.

So Long Saloon is the best place in town. They mix Old Mil w/ pineapple juice and it's delicious.
Varsity Donuts is our must stop, I've had better donuts, but my kid loves it. Pistachio donut is fire.
Coco Bolos is also okay.
