Leaves some money on the table for a couple more high quality assistants. Maybe Mangino doesn't mind a few less dollars if he can bring in the guys he needs.

Wow I thought for sure we'd make Mangino the highest paid (or at least very close) OC in the Big 12. I thought I saw somewhere Mess was like the 3rd or 4th highest somehow.

Doesn't seem like money and prestige are all that important to Mangino. He's at a point in his career where he wants to coach, be successful, and be happy and the salary he gets paid each fall doesn't matter as much as it used too.

He also stayed at Kansas when he probably could have moved onto bigger and better things, so maybe money has never been all that important too him.

3rd but Baylor and TCU don't report since they are private. Could be 3rd to 5th.

I rocked NCAA '07 by bumping my QB rating to 99 and then doing a hail mary every play. I won the NC 4 years in a row. If OCMM needs some tips he knows where to find me. I only want the standard 10%

Texas Tech going the cheap route on their OC makes sense because their head coach Kliff Kingsbury handles the offense's playcalling.
KU's head coach also called the plays up until midway through this year and I thought Holgerson called the plays at WV

If he succeeds here he can make himself the highest paid OC in the Big12. If we see improvement, even in year one, he can get a raise real quick.
