Now that the weather is turning I'm switching to indoor projects. I bought my house in March of this year. When I bought it I didn't know if I could finish the basement because of the rough finish on the cement floor. I did some research and finally went to Menard's last night and bought Dricore subfloor panels.
These panels are 2'x2' and tounge and groove that require no glueing or fastening. There is rigid plastic on the bottom in case of moisture getting into the basement. They also have leveling shims to place underneath of there is an uneven area. I am currently waiting for them to climatize so I can install them tomorrow. I should be able to get it done in a couple of hours.
I have put some before pictures of my basement and of the panels on here. I know there are a few of you that has done this kind of project so I was looking for some tips and ideas that some of you might have.
