First Laker game I have watched all year. No longer a big NBA. Been a long time Laker fan but a little fair weather recently with them sucking. Never been a big Kobe guy but was pulling for him and that 4th quarter was just storybook. Would have sucked if they had lost but his points actually won them that game late. Just a fun happy ending and as a Cyclone I don't get many.

I watched almost every game aside from Minnesota and Chicago. You didn't miss much

Kobe is a legend but I find it hilarious when people get super defensive any time someone brings up something negative about him. Like, even great players have flaws, just deal with it.

Having said that, it was really fun watching him take over that 4th quarter tonight. Absolutely a great player in basketball history.

Can anyone just enjoy kobe w/out having to bring up Colorado? Thats like bringing up the bowling alley when talking about Iverson as a bball player or Jordans gambling and in general crappy person traits. None of it matters when looking at them as a bball player.

Well it was his last game ever and he is playing on a 16 win team, not sure that it matters a whole lot whether he was efficient or chucked half court shots all night.

Not a huge Kobe fan, but on the court I have always respected his game. Dude was one of the best to ever play the game. An amazing clutch time finisher(which we saw again last night) and an incredible defender when he needed to be. He had an interesting mix of an old school game and craftiness mixed with explosive athleticism and raw talent. The game will miss him.
