Who's gonna watch the enhanced pilot episode tonight? Maybe it will give us some clues to how this will all play out.

I feel so nerdy being this excited about a tv show but I can't help it. :jiggy:

And what are everyone's predictions? We can come back after the finale and see who nailed it.

I'm going to try to watch the pilot episode tonight as well. Going to unplug the phone, shut the shades, and put a "Go Away, I'm watching LOST" sign on the front door. It's my only option.

Yeah I'm watching the enhanced version of the pilot right now... I'd recommend doing that.
 
Can't wait. For some reason I've got a feeling that Jack will only be able to protect the island for a short time, as Jacob said 'for as long as you can' when he asked for how long.

Special? Not really. It's more of a refresher more than anything... basically sums everything up nicely.

I was hoping it would explain what Locke said to Walt after he said, "Walt, do you want to know a secret?" But of course it didn't.
 
I know one thing about tonight...there will be a lot of people upset at the ending. It's inevitable. There's no way everything will be explained, and many want that.

I'm just hoping it's a better end to a series than the Sopranos or St. Elsewhere.
 
The pilot was great last night. Nothing earth shattering, but lots of little tidbits that are good reminders.
 
Love the series, but in some respects will be happy when it's over. It's become addictive for me and will be nice not having to zone everything else out the hour or two it's on.
 
Who else thought Jack was going to be the go to guy at the end? I thought Sawyer might have an outside chance at it, but figured Jack would be the guy.

My hope it's a happy ending and in the end everybody is living in the reality that we've been observing this season.
 
Any guesses as to how many deaths are there going to be tonight? I could see Sawyer or Ben sacrificing himself for the good of mankind. But then again, if the island is destroyed like MIB wishes, I guess everyone might die?

No idea about the flash sideways though...
 
I still have a weird feeling about the end. I have a sneaking suspicion that Jack wont be the man and the whole candidate thing is actually nothing.

I don't think Jack will be the guy at the end. It was too easy and clean last episode. I think he'll die tonight and someone else will have to take over the job.

A few questions I'd like to see answered:
-Why was Walt special?
-What's the deal with the statue?
-Why are there pregnancy problems on the island?
-Where are Rose/Bernard?
-Will Claire's child, Aaron, be of importance at all?
-What's Desmond's purpose?
-Who was behind the DHARMA food drops?
-Will we see Juliet?
-What was the deal with the ash-circles?
-Does MIB have a name?
-Who is Jack's ex-wife in the alt. universe?
-Why does Eloise seem all-knowing?
-Why did Whidmore come back to the island?
-How did Jacob get off the island to talk to the losties early in their lives?
-What's up with Jack's neck wound?
-What is the light?
-How will the alt. universe tie in?
-What is the island?

At this point, I'd be happy with half of those answered tonight.

I don't think we will see most answered, and personally I think some of those have been answered pretty well so far or will be left vague and to interpretation (like why did Widmore come back to the island, What is the island and what is the light?. What is the light can't have a more technical answer because itd be too hokey and I think the former two are basically answered). I don't think we'll find out about Walt or the statue.

Really I think if they answer too many they won't have time to have a real good episode with a great story. But we definitely need to know the answer to your 2nd to last question, "How will the alt universe tie in?"

Haha call me greedy... But after this amount of time invested in watching the show there are just some things I want to KNOW the answer to. I do like having some left unanswered for interpretation but still...
