Looks like Tiger will miss the cut

I don't understand the Tiger obsession. It's the biggest case of bandwagon fandom I've ever seen, to the point that people won't even watch the sport if he's not playing. And he's a turd of a human being too.

I can't stand Tiger. I can't get enough of him playing poorly. Some of the stories that have come out with how he treats people are crazy.

He pretty much stated that he didn't care what his score but needed to get back and start getting into groove again .

He hasn't played in months, just shows up and was expecting to compete against guys that have been playing non-stop and in the middle of their season?

I would be been surprised if he actually made the cut. Not a tiger fan, but he did about what I expected anybody in that situation to do

USMNT in the World Cup is by far more bandwagon fandom. Half the fans don't even understand what they are watching or know the names of more than 2-3 players.

Yeah, I've never heard him talk like he was before this tournament. He came out and said the British was the tournament he planned to return to and it happened that he was physically able to play in this tournament which has his fingerprints all over. It was a money grab for him and a chance to get back to competition.

I love comments like these. Like all the guys out there but Tiger are these awesome friendly people.

Fair enough, but we cheer for the USMNT because they represent our country, not because they have a history of winning. You could make a similar statement about any Olympic sport that isn't on TV every week during their respective seasons. Plus, in two weeks people won't know or care what's happening with the USMNT but the Tiger speculation/attention will still be going strong.

I wish the Ryder Cup got as much attention as the USMNT. I can't wait to go to Hazeltine and see it in person. I understand what you are saying though because when the Ryder Cup comes around, I don't care who's on the team.

He got right back into the groove of saying how good he hit it when the tee-balls were left-right-alpha.

I think it does it's just "real" fans is the difference.

I'm going when it's in Paris, can't wait for that.
