LHN and Texas move

Anyone get the impression that sometime last summer, while all heck was breaking loose regarding conference realignment, that a decision was made that the only way Texas could move to the Pac10 and keep LHN would be if they had it up and running already? It would be harder to move to a new conference, then want special treatment. With LHN operational, it is just part of the deal. Seems like a much easier sale for the commissioner and will just push a few other teams in the conference to follow suit.

I don't think that's the case at all. It's existence is a possible deal-breaker imo.
