I'm trying to figure out why those who are against CPR returning and very negative right now are insistent on derailing threads of those who are trying to deem some positive out a rough situation. I don't get it...It is called hope people. If you don't have hope, then there is no reason on repeatedly peeing in everyone else's Cheerios.

I get it...this sucks. The last two seasons have stunk...yes...we get it...we all are living it. No one likes it, but you have a choice. Be complete ******** for the next 8 months or try to focus on something positive in life.

Rant over...now ready for those previously mentioned to use me as a fire hydrant.

I am hoping personally we make history today and shake up the makeup of college football again. Otherwise, hoping to make it a respectable showing. And ultimately if we set yet another record of crappy performances on national TV, I'm going to be ****** like everyone else and go about my Saturday looking forward to basketball season.

There's not a lot of hope for your hope is it is derailed by those who have no hope.
 
I don't expect a win over the #3 team in the country at their house. What I hope to see is our guys give it their all and have some fun. If they do all they are capable of, I can ask for no more. I'll be rooting for them. GO STATE!!
 
And now we root for TCU and the rest of the B12 to perform well for the conference. We got throttled by the #3 team in the country. It could have been worse and we have seen much worse performances. Here is to the coaches hitting the recruiting trail this week with hopes they can convince some JCs that we have major playing time to be had. We have continuity of staff for at least one more year. Nothing we can do about it at this point, so move on and hope for the best.

Now what do you think about shifting our pissyness over towards the Hawks and keep this a Cyclone State! I hear our basketball team is doing pretty well...
 
Sometimes you get so disgusted with what you see the only way to deal with it is humor and sarcasm. I reached that the week of the KU loss. And I've been following ISU football since 1976, so I'm not just a young millennial without historical perspective.

Yeah, I cheer for ISU every game, but when they suck balls I just can't handle sunshine blowing up my ***. Maybe that's just me.

Yup. At some point you have to reward a fan base with a win or two or you won't have much of any fan base left. Trying to sell the idea that there's something just over the horizon seems pretty silly right now. This program doesn't know how to compete, let alone win. It's a thousand little things that are evident as you watch the performance on the field and the stuff like player attrition off the field. I'll probably be watching and hoping next year, but at this point it won't surprise me if UNI comes in and manhandles us again. There's substantial things wrong with the way this program is being led and managed right now.
 
I don't get it.. Why do all these positive people have to come in and ruin my negative threads? So annoying.
