Thanks Rob! We appreciate you being back on CF!!
Unleash the Rocco hound! He had a great game.

Continue to let him RIP the rest of the way! Find ways to be different and unpredictable each game.

CMC..This is the time of the season you figure out what your team can do? Hope he gets that figured out before season starts next year.
Agree. It seems like if a coach can't figure things out sooner, like at the beginning of the year? Figure things out sooner, play to the players strengths. Know their weaknesses. Stop trying to plug square pegs in round holes.

Scary thing is next week I'm not sure he might not start the game trying to establish the run again. I pray we keep extending the route trees for our recievers, quit running up the middle, quit passing laterally to a receiver, start using our RB's in the passing game, and roll Rocco out of the pocket occasionally.

And calling plays to allow Becht to run especially a run fake up the middle with Becht keeping it as the DE crashes the middle.

Freshman QB playing a real away game for the first time in Norman at night o_O

Rolling pocket. More pulling guards or diagonal blocking? Just run 'em over that way if you can't contain 'em head on. Let the RB find the hole. It likely won't be by design.

The straight up blocking by the OL can't get any worse. For once I would like to see the OL take the DL back a couple of yards! Just once! Where is the violence? I can't understand why they let them the DL slip by and just stand there! If you're not pushing your man every time aggressively, not knocking people over, you're not blocking right.

I know this thread is about Becht, but the OL needs to start hitting people. What good is a 325 lb. OLineman who can't move his feet? Maybe we need to get smaller and quicker there? I know I am asking for a more athletic OL, yeah so is so is everyone, but good gosh, Rocco is eventually going to get hammered.

We need a few more screens! We are letting the DLinemen thru anyway! Use it to our advantage.

Maybe it's taken a few games to get Becht comfortable and confident enough to do these things.

I've been clamoring for a better prepared team coming out of August for years but at the same time you can't just throw everything together for a new starting QB and often times you need a couple of games to see where things really are.

We better be attacking their CB's every chance we get. I'm still not impressed with OU's D.

They haven't really played anyone and Cincy had plenty of scoring chances that they just didn't cash in on because their execution in the Redzone was not good.
