I am begging Dylan Coon & Nigel Dyson to read @ChrisMWilliams premium info about Omaha so they can stop speculating about what’s going on with him/program/tj.
Second week in a row & when the Omaha segment comes up I start banging my head into a wall.

You’re doing podcasts for Cyclone Fanatic, the info is there lmao.

They don’t understand why he isn’t playing since he was a McD AA. They are afraid that he will leave.

Screw them, TJ has earned more than enough respect to run the team the way he sees fit. Our staff has shown consistently that they will give players who want to succeed the opportunity and tools and options to do it. Just about every player that has stayed here has improved.

It's a big brave new world out there if he wants to leave so be it. Hell he can transfer whenever he wants.
Personally I hope he stays and grows but I really don't care. I've been watching Cyclone BB a lot of years one more player coming or going doesn't change that. I've had favorite players through different eras so some freshman that hasn't earned playing time is low on my list of all time Cyclones.

If he’s not good enough, then that’s a TJ problem for not evaluating him right. Time will tell.

Nigel has a full time job in Louisiana guys. Maybe you shouldn't get too worked up that the guy on the free podcast you listen to might have things going on that limit his ability to be dialed in on ISU at all times from 900 miles away. I think it's great he still makes time for ISU and CF.

Everyone evaluated him the same way. He has raw potential. They didn’t rank him top 20 for nothing. TJ just has better players than him right now. Not sure if he will ever play here but that don’t mean TJ evaluated him wrong

Dylan has improved a ton since his time with WRNL and I think Nigel has a done a great job for someone without podcast experience. The Omaha thing is barely annoying but the pod is really solid overall.

It's funny how everyone has different tastes. Of all the podcasts that I might have complaints about, LHC is pretty far down the list.

All I’m asking them is to read 1 post from Chris Williams, whose network they podcast on. That’s all

The passion these guys have for Cyclone hoops is great. Personally, I like podcasts that add some insight that I don’t already know. I can walk down the hall to a coworker’s office if I just want to shoot the **** about ISU. Granted, everyone has different tastes.

One of the glaring things I caught early on (akin to the attention to detail comment above) was that neither of them had any idea where/who ISU was playing for the Thanksgiving tournament a few weeks prior…most diehards are already locked into what the schedule is. The clickbait-y stuff like calling Lipsey/Gilbert the best backcourt in ISU history (and supporting tertiary blue! :mccaffery:) is a bit of a turnoff as well.

The podcast is just in its infancy so I’m sure they’re learning as they go and hopefully can take a few bits of constructive feedback to improve!

Well thanks the update on tertiary blue, that alone is reason to not trust their judgement.

I am enjoying LHC and hope they keep it up. While there are a few valid criticisms mentioned above, I hope they find the time and energy to grow the pod. They seem like Cyclone MBB junkies and I recommend giving their next podcast a listen.

I listen for what they contribute, not what they lack. For instance, I love hearing interesting behind-the-scenes stories like the one about Cade Cunningham. And even the simple observations, such as wondering about Addy Brown wearing #24 as a freshman right after Ashley Joens left. I haven't heard anyone else talk about this, but I've wondered too. Lastly, they welcome feedback. If you give them feedback that isn't hateful or judgmental, I suspect they will accept it and grow from it.

What did Williams share about Omaha in the premium article other than "he's not ready"? Is there something that should probably be shared with everyone so they stop asking questions and speculating?
