Leadership is absent on this team at some extremely unpredictable times this year. Runs at the beginning of games, runs at the end of games, and not just your average 7-8 point runs....12 and 15 point runs. Add to that bonehead plays at critical times which tends to leave us flat, and you have to wonder who is going to step up and stand in the gap. Anyone, coaches included?

Seemed to be enough leadership today. Not sure what you want a leader to do that a non leader couldn't have done today.

13 turnovers. One on an inbound play with a game on the line. The last possession as well. Call it execution, but I call it leadership as well. Leaders step up. Leaders don't lose games like today. Period.

Well morris had a tough *** and-one that put them ahead and should have won it.

That same niang guy that sucked late today is the one that won 3 or 4 games last year, and the okie st game last week.

It's not leadership from players that's lacking. It's execution. I will say some of the coaches need to start getting on players for not executing.

I thought Monte did an outstanding job leading the way and showing toughness at the end.

But yeah...I agree that today's game can't be attributed to Fred. Or to KSU going insanely clinical (like Baylor). Today had something to do with the team.

Leaders execute at tough times. Perhaps we are splitting hairs over terms here, but our toughness during major stretches is lacking. The mettle of a team is what I'm looking for, and I'm seeing it some, but not near enough.
