Just a quick update on college basketball's next rising star.

Currently averaging just over 4 points a game in just under 10 min of playing time for the up and coming 6-8 Gophers. Its gonna be a shame when he only makes 2nd team all-american...

I could imagine that several of the mini-cyclones will wish they had stayed and developed into the real deal when all is said and done....instead of moving on as a poof of wind.

but Minnesota has a lock on a #1 seed this year! I hear the whispers of lil Larry goin' pro after this year. Guaranteed lottery pick.

because he spurned us because he wouldn't start here. and now he's barely playing at a struggling program. have a sense of humor.

only because his dad met with GMac and told him he needed to start right away. He was on his way out already, GMac just sped up the process.

I guess I don't see the humor in ripping a kid who sought what he thought was a better opportunity elsewhere.

I am reserving judgment on this young man, as he still has time to become a player, and we now play Minnesota each year (at least for awhile). He could go all Lafester on us next year, for all we know.

Plus, there is nothing wrong with a player going to where he feels his situation is better...see Skip McCoy, Shane Power, Adam Haluska, Derrick Hayes, and probably more I'm not thinking of went on to have good careers elsewhere. I would rather had them have those careers at ISU, but I would have done what's best for me in those situations when I was 18-22.

Because these posters are capable of very childish behavior. Is that because they are children of college students who never grew up?

So instead of ripping Westbrook, you rip on the "childish" posters on Cyclonefanatic?

Children of college students? There are either some very young posters on here or some really old college students...

Since you are pulling out the "students are childish" stereotype, can I pull out the "all old people need to lighten up" stereotype for you?
