Our D has played lights out through two games, but man, we cannot catch a break on creating turnovers. Rose had one that got away and Stanley through a jump ball that was an easy grab for three of our guys, yet no one made the play. It’s so frustrating as those are plays that win us the game. We are continuously in the right spot, just can’t get the ball to bounce our way.

Really struggling to finish those plays and we saw it vs UNI too. Also completing the sack of the QB. I gave UNIs Qb credit cause he was fast but we were jumping and lunging early for Stanley who is slllloww and he would just step away from it. Extremely frustrating

Didn’t meet to nitpick...just wanted to complain to anyone that will listen that the ball just won’t bounce our way. Makes me feel better in this time of sorrow lol
Exactly people shouldn’t be to mad tonight. We have had just about everything other than the one fumble bounce the other way so far this year. We’ve still looked good. Odds are we will start seeing it bounce our way come Big 12 play. Both of those teams should be top 20.

Will they start to bounce the other way? We’ve lost the TO battle in 6 straight games. We’ve only won the turnover battle in 3 of the past 17.

Iowa didn’t look much better than UNI imo. They may end up with a good record, but it was one of our more winnable games. It’s only Game 2, for us, though. We’ll get better each week.

We seem to over run or over commit to plays defensively? There were many times we has stanly in the back field but a little juke vs staying on feet and containing let him loose.

it’s not about bounces. It’s about catching the ball when it’s in your hands. Do it, ISU wins. Don’t do it, ISU loses.

Most of our games will be won/lost on a few plays this year. ISU is not blowing out anyone.

Happened two weeks ago too.

The speed is there to get in position but finishing the play is lacking.

They are called 50/50 calls/balls for a reason.
