Kurt Warner First Iowa in the HOF?

I believe yes. Yes, he does have a gigantic hole smack dab in the middle of his career (blame the NY Giants for using him as a tutor for Eli), however, I don't think there's ever been a better player to play the game when all the marbles are on the table. What I mean is, even though he's only 1-2 in Super Bowls, he owns the top three passing performances in Super Bowl history - hard to blame Warner when he showed up to play. Plus him being as popular a guy as he is, he's going to get brownie points.

Don't know if he would be the first Iowan, but it would be a damn shame if he were not admitted to the HOF.

I think you are trying to say that Kurt Warner is the best Super Bowl QB to ever play the game? If that is correct then wow!

1. Joe Montana (3 time SB MVP)
2. Terry Bradshaw (4 SB Wins)
3. Tom Brady (3 SB Wins)
4. Bart Starr (2 time SB MVP)
5. John Elway (2 SB wins)

I know Kurt put up some serious stats, but he played in a primarily passing offense and obviously his team was down, 1-2 record, so he was forced to pass even more.

And on top of this, he took two dismall teams to the Super Bowl. The Rams twice and who would have thought he could take the Cardnials of all teams to within 2 mins of winning the SB. That right there should be enough to put him in easy.

I think Roger Craig of Davenport is up for consideration again this year.

Warner has the 2nd best post-season Passer Rating of all time, don't try to say he's not one of the best.

You forgot Troy Aikman.

IMO, no reason Kurt Warner shouldn't be in the Hall of Fame. First ballot.
