FJ Management is a private company that owns convenience stores, oil refineries, banks and insurance businesses. In addition to Maverik, the company co-owns Pilot Flying J, the country's largest truck stop chain. The other owners are Berkshire Hathaway and Pilot Corp.

Kum & Go has always been a place that it seemed like the employees genuinely enjoyed where they worked, and from what I understand, they also get some pretty good benefits.

Wonder how that's going to change now that a faceless "investment group" will own the stores and just be focused on squeezing the most profit they can out of them?

The mortgage he has to carry on his building made selling K&G inevitable. Besides, Kyle was more interested In his Italian vineyard anyway.

I noticed that they took the big K&G sign down at the Huxley exit on I-35 a few weeks ago. Not sure if there was something wrong structurally (I think it's barely a year old) or if it's an indication the stores will be renamed.

Damn I live really close to a Kum and Go and I think it's a pretty good store. I hope it doesn't start to suck.

K&G stores (and solar) were doing well but it sure looks like the Krause Family has been bleeding money on their other investments the last few years.

i have suspicions they needed some cash.
