Kum & Go has always been a place that it seemed like the employees genuinely enjoyed where they worked, and from what I understand, they also get some pretty good benefits.

Wonder how that's going to change now that a faceless "investment group" will own the stores and just be focused on squeezing the most profit they can out of them?

I noticed that they took the big K&G sign down at the Huxley exit on I-35 a few weeks ago. Not sure if there was something wrong structurally (I think it's barely a year old) or if it's an indication the stores will be renamed.

Same here. A couple of locations I frequented were immediately worse after the Casey's takeover.

K&G stores (and solar) were doing well but it sure looks like the Krause Family has been bleeding money on their other investments the last few years.

i have suspicions they needed some cash.

His Italian soccer club purchase was requiring him to send money from K&G to Italy, which pissed off his JV's.. This has been in the works since 2021.
