I went to the Phog gm this season and the fans could not have been nicer...very complimentary of our team, joked about wanting Niang and Monte to go pro, etc.......just like on this site, a few fanatic jackasses can give a fan base a bad reputation...

It's hard to remember during the season that not all KU fans are insufferable douchebags, but typically when it comes to the health of a player or a coach, the maturity level rises a bit.

As fans if you can't wish an enemy or rival heartfelt wishes when dealing with health issues, then that is the LEAST of their problems.

I can't stand the Hawks, but I had nothing but prayers for Coach Fran and his family as Patrick dealt with his cancer.

Things like that can really put life into prospective. Good work KU.

The imminent surgery probably explains why Otz came in so quick without the normal process and his being a previous employee. He needs to run the show for Fred for awhile.
