I just bought my first and only batch from Costco. How do you guys eat this stuff? I feel like I'm eating something from fear factor.

Kimchi rules. I cook up a some cheap ramen, thai curry paste and vegetables throw some kimchi in it and a soft boiled egg. delicious

If I had a cold and you gave me a bowl of spicy Kimchi vs whatever a doctor prescribed, I’d go with the kimchi.

I can have a reasonable portion and be totally fine…but there is a line where it can become an event.
Kind of like ranch dressing for me. That **** is ******* awful and represents everything wrong with the Midwest.
Kimchi can have a lot of variation. Don't give up because the big box version isn't great.
What is consistently great at Costco are the pizza rolls.

One year in Freddy Ct a Korean guy got put with me and two buddies. It’s not just the toots and there’s no level of prep that’s adequate. When he took a deuce, it literally atom bombed the entire unit and was like 4-5 hours before the air was breathable again.
I should've stated that Kimchi is transferring in the title. Transferring from my fridge to the toilet.

What if we mixed in the ranch with the kimchi, threw that **** in the trash, and then just did sake bombs?
I’ve tried it one time. Never again. It transferred my butthole into a car cigarette lighter.
Kimchi is fantastic but my wife can tell from 3 miles away if I ate it

If you don't like fermented stuff then you won't like Kimchi. I hate fermented stuff, so I hate Kimchi. I had family that taught English in Korea and I spent 2 weeks over there with them. It was very important to them that I respect Korean culture and not come off like a doosh foreigner, and Kimchi is very important in Korean culture. You see the fermentation pots all over the place. Lots of people make their own, and it can taste very different from one place to the next, and I hated all of it. They eat it for every meal, including breakfast. Kimchi for ******* breakfast! I choked it down pretending I liked it every day I was there. I gag when I see it now. I don't ever want to eat it again.
