I'm probably going to take our little guy, just curious if an CF'ers had been before.

Yes, I took my son(5 yr old) and my buddy took a couple of his older kids (8-10) last year. All had a good time. Sounds like it's going to be better this year. Unfortunately, can't make it this time.

Just as long as you aren't talking about KidsFest here at the fairgrounds. Now that is a site! I saw a mother last year that squatted down and I thought I saw a thong hanging out and I saw that it was instead a tattoo of a thong hanging out. That had to be a fun tattoo for the tattoo artist.

No... I have been to that KidsFest too... that is a nightmare.

Kidsfest was BRUTAL. There were like 2 or 3 things my kids even cared about there.

Then there were the booths that looked like a meth-head built them behind his trailer.

And don't forget a whole gaggle of EIU cheerleaders. There wasn't a bottle of Jack Daniels or a menthol cigarrette to be found on all of the east side that night.
