Kidd a cheat? Or just Gamesmanship....

I think its pretty stupid, i have no real issue with it because he wont be a coach long anyways the way things are going.

Personally I think it is genius. However, I don't see why you would ever admit it.

It would have been genius in a day when there weren't high definition cameras on the key people in every sporting event at every second. If you're going to do that...wipe your lip or something while you say it and cover your mouth.

I love it. He is going to be fined, and not coaching, at least as a head coach for much longer, but brilliant.

Meh. Kidd might have had a better season if the Nets didn't build their team around former Celtics that need to be put out to pasture. Then again, maybe not.

I'm sure it's been done before but I haven't seen it, I think it's brilliant. But yeah, that's not something you openly admit to, even if it's not against the rules it's certainly against the spirit of the rules.

People describing this as "brilliant" really reinforce the negative image of win at all costs... Whether it's that, or flopping, or having coaches demand a PI flag on every pass makes me sad. We should let them call their own fouls sometime but since most of these millionaires are armed it would probably end up in gang violence.

I miss the days of winning and losing with character.

Jason Kidd has always been under the impression that hitting can solve lots of situations, he's always been a scumbag, always will be.

Spent $50,000 in order to draw up a play that didn't work. That must really hurt.

$50k for a timeout could be worth it in the playoffs, or if you're actually a good coach.
