That's rough. Greene was always a very visible player. Big personality. Big impact on the field. Sorry to see him go.

I thought steroids could play a part also. Loved Kevin Greene. Great player and fun to watch.

One of my favorite players growing up. He had quite a career. He was also ROTC at Auburn and a Captain in the Army Reserves.

Haven't seem it confirmed by media but some talk on the interwebs was that it was a Heart Attack.

Growing up I always thought he was a super-villain. He just had this weird aura to him when I was a kid that honestly freaked me out and made me “hate” him.

Personalities like that are great for sports and make things interesting IMO.
