College basketball casual fan here.. Do many of you guys have a subscription to Ken Pom? I like to follow stats/trends ext. Just wondering if its was worth the 20 bucks a year?

I bought it this year for the first time. I wouldn't say it's anything ground breaking, but I'm a stat nerd and it's $20.

I buy it when we’re not complete dog ****. So probably 2-3 years after Prohm is kicked out of Ames, I’ll buy it again.

Spoiler alert:

All of our statistics are very bad.

Our advanced statistics are worse.

Everything reminds me of sex.

Everything reminds you guys of how bad our basketball team is.

It’s kinda hard to ignore, especially on an ISU specific social media like CF.

This thread was about a subscription service for college basketball stats and if it is worth the price. There is nothing about that involving the current status of just one of 350ish Division I programs.

Not "herp derp Prohm sucks we suck."

You've got a million threads for that already. Not every new thread opening up needs your whining.

It’s not whining, but whatever.

Do you have another account under LegendHawk by chance? By you using the words "statistics" and "advanced" in the same post, you sound just like him. Kinda eerie.

This is probably the dumbest post I have ever seen on CF, and that’s saying something.

Sure, you got me, my 18,000+ posts about and supporting Iowa State and about attending games are nothing compared to your evidence that I used two words in a thread that is about a website that... provides advanced statistics for college basketball in the first post.

You got me. Clearly that context is meaningless, obviously happening to have used two of the same words any high schooler should know that somebody else did is evidence that all 18,000 of those posts were a cover.

Nice try Perry Mason, but you might want to stop posting and think about how silly you have been for awhile. Accusing somebody of sock puppetry is definitely a sign you are way too far down the hole on social media for your own good. Time for a little break when you start saying a long-term poster here is really a notorious Hawk troll.

Advanced statistics are the bogeyman.

Any specific stats that you take from it for your gambling purposes? Or just use his projected scores?
Had it for five years. Its good for:

Predicting the spread in advance
Finding the box score, for any game
Playing time by player by game is great
Player & team stats for shooting/rebounding/turnover etc.
team stat comparisons for upcoming games
