KC Sportscaster goes too far

Dude could of taken the high road and just apologized and let the story die. He went out of the way to make sure he continued to be the center of the story, and kept talking out of his ass, as usual.

610 = home of the Royals = only real station in KC.

Seriously, who actually listens to 810. They have always been 2nd rate TURDS.

As a broadcaster in that market you have to understand where the line is. This seems like he felt he needed to have a strong take just for the sake of having a strong take. If he left out the part about Reid's family, he would have been fine.

When they hired Reid he said on the radio that he couldn’t believe Reid wasn’t taking a year off after his sons death. It was not a big story (I’m recalling this from memory of listening to it live) but he was pretty adamant about it. I remember thinking that it was uncalled for.

It’s not a new thing for him. For whatever reason Kietzmamn has always been hung up on this.

His statement is stupid and wrong for so many reasons, but I get sick of this idea that coaches are somehow surrogate parents for their players. I think it is taken too far in college, and I definitely have an issue with it in the nfl. That's not to say a player, or any employee for that matter, can't face consequences at work for what they do in their personal lives. But why do some think it's a coaches job to take an active role in players personal lives? Its weird.

Really over the years they were better than 610 much of the time.

At what? Worse shows, worse prizes, no official connection with the Royals or Chiefs.

I will admit that I think that 610's lineup right now may be the worst I can remember, but with Fescoe and the Royals, that's all it takes to crush 810.
