I got my parents tickets to the 12/1 KC Chiefs v. Denver broncos game. This will be their first pro football game experience and I was wondering what the parking situation is in KC considering they won't really be tailgating... Is it easy enough to find parking at the stadium or can they take a shuttle?

It's been 10 years since I've been there but I remember there being a ton of parking.

There is parking at Arrowhead but it runs about $30. If that is an issue there are places where they can catch a park and ride bus.

Was there earlier this yr for the raider game ... Parking at venue is $27 ... Go extra early ... We were 'in line' on the interstate to park about 2 hrs before kickoff ... Finally decided to take our chances and went around n it worked out perfectly ... There is parking across the street at a church and a couple of the gas stations that are $15 if u dont mind the walk ... Also want to give yourself 20 mins to get thru security ... Lastly, if someone in your group wants to bring a bag/purse forget it n leave it in your car ... My mom had to empty the contents of her purse into a 1 gallon ziploc bag and leave her purse at the first security checkpoint ...

We are actually heading down this weekend. Usually go to one game a year. We were going to do the Iowa State game and Chiefs game but the 7:00 kick screwed us. For a noon game we get there at 6:00. That is 2.5 hours before parking lots open. We get there as season ticket holders driving from Arkansas, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, etc.. are pulling end. Out on the street we make breakfast for as many people as we can a talk / drink. Once we get inside, we get offered the best tailgating food around. But we usually, park right next to Kaufman (Royals) Stadium and have a short walk to the game. Around the stadium is a huge concrete jungle so they shouldn't have any problem finding parking.
